About Greenpoint’s Original Italian Pizza

Located at 93 Norman Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11222, Greenpoint’s Original Italian Pizza operates as a pizza restaurant serving Brooklyn in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Brooklyn, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across New York on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Slammin’ pizza! I’ve had slices from all over the city and this one is one of the best tasting! Small space and little seating but who cares; it’s delicious!

love it I went here yesterday ! I've tried both Upside pizza and Russ Pizza (both in greeenpoint and nearby) got to say I actually prefer here they give you a larger wide slice the cheese is stretchy which the last time i had pizza that was this stretchy has to be Joe's Pizza its definitely on my top 5 as a native New Yorker. Some people might hate this but you know a pizza is good when you step into the pizzeria the smoke and smell hits you making your eyes water. I love how if you order more than one slice you'll get a pizza box not a lot of pizza spots in NYC does that I'm so grateful for it Definitely my new go to spot

If I could give Greenpoint original pizza place a 10+ I would. I ate pizza when it cost .15 cents. Now that pizza prices are up. You can always get a delicious pizza on Norman Street off Manhattan Ave. Greenpoint. They are generous portion slices and I am always happy with their flavors. Today I ordered a pizza broccoli chicken. N a diet Dr Pepper. I ate half and took at home. Yum. My all-time favorite Pizzeria in Williamsburg Greenpoint area. Try it. It’s hard to find good Pizza in Greenpoint n Williamsburg these days. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in a very long time. And they are not cheap with their slices either. My new pizza joint. Friendly staff.

Just what you’d expect from a neighborhood pizzeria in New York! Freshly made pizza, lots of cheese, basil, herbs and a lovely crisp crunch to the crust. Guys serving were also manning the oven were very friendly. Limited seating inside and a couple of tables outside. Definitely recommend!
